Denmark on Saturday demolished Wales 4-0 with a brilliant display in Amsterdam to advance to the quarter of final of Euro2020.
Kasper Dolberg struck in the 27th minute, giving Denmark an early lead in the first half.
Early in the second half, he doubled Denmark’s lead, netting another goal in the 48th minute.
While Wales struggled to curtail smoking Denmark, Joakim Maehle made it three for Denmark in the 88th minute.
Martin Braithwaite fired in the fourth goal for Denmark in the extra minutes.
Speaking to UEFA after the March, Denmark coach, Kasper Hjulmand, said “We are able to be flexible.
Everything wasn’t perfect during the game but we improved and that’s something we’ve done several times.”
“They’re a good team,” Gareth Bale, Wales captain, told UEFA after the march.
“We played them in the past, they’re very well organised. Obviously we wish them all the best for the rest of the tournament.
We have to pick ourselves up and go again in September,” he added.
Denmark will face the winner between Netherlands and Czech Republic in the quarter finals.
