Euro2020: Wales, Switzerland share points in group stage match

The second game of Euro2020 between group A contenders, Wales and Switzerland, ended in a 1-1 draw with both teams sharing points.
The match held at Baku Olympic Stadium on Saturday.
Breel Embolo nodded home from Xherdan Shaqiri’s corner, giving Switzerland the lead in the 49th minute.
But Kieffer Moore rescued Wales in the 79th minute, nodding in an equaliser to help Wales escape defeat in their first match of the competition.
With three goals in their opening game against Turkey on Friday, Italy comfortable tops group A, while Turkey is last in the group.Â
Wales will fight for all three points against Turkey to quality from the group, while Turkey also need a win to remain in the competition.
Similarly, Switzerland will battle the leader of the group, Italy, for three points in their second game to remain in the competition.
“Turkey is an important game for us now. We need to rest and recuperate and go again next time,” Aaron Ramsey, Wales midfielder, told UEFA.com.
Reacting after the game, Vladimir Petković, Switzerland coach said, “I see it as a glass half full. We dominated the game for large periods and were better than them in many areas. We just switched off for ten minutes and ended up conceding a goal.”
