FIRS boss Zacch AdedejI bags NEAPS award for ‘exceptional’ fiscal innovation

The executive chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), Zacch Adedeji, has been honoured by the organisers of the Award for Fiscal Reforms and Innovation at the Nigeria Excellence Awards in Public Service (NEAPS).
Mr Adedeji was honoured with the annual award for his “exceptional contributions” to public service and his impact on the fiscal reforms and innovation within the FIRS over the past twelve months.
The NEAPS recognition scheme is an annual event established to reward people who have excelled exceptionally in their contributions to public service in the year under consideration.
It is organised in collaboration with the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (OSGF).
The recipients of the award are selected after the process of evaluating their contributions to their states, communities, and agencies and the 46-year-old emerged as one of the winners of this edition following the conclusion of the process.
