Flood kills 27, over 27 girls missing in Texas

At least 27 people, including nine children, have been killed, while 27 girls are still missing as flash floods ravage Texas, U.S.
The 27 girls went missing after the flash flood hit a Christian summer camp on the banks of the Guadalupe River.
While rescue operations are ongoing, the Kerr County Sheriff’s Office said that over 800 people have been evacuated from the area affected by the flood.
At a news conference on Saturday, Kerr County Sheriff Larry Leitha said, “We will not stop until every single person is found.”
Torrential downpour triggered a massive flash flood sweeping through Kerr County in Texas.
President Donald Trump, in a post on Truth Social on Saturday, said his “administration is working with State and Local Officials on the ground in Texas in response to the tragic flooding that took place yesterday.
He added, “Our Secretary of Homeland Security, Kristi Noem, will be there shortly. Melania and I are praying for all of the families impacted by this horrible tragedy. Our brave first responders are on site doing what they do best. God bless the families, and God bless Texas!”
