The immediate past chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Cross River, Mr Alphonsus Eba, has resigned from the party.

Mr Eba’s resignation from the APC is contained in a letter dated May 7, and addressed to the secretary, Echumofana Ward, Yala Local Government Area.

In the letter, the former APC chairman stated that the values, peace, love and unity that typified the party had gone extinct.

He said, “I have sought an alternative platform where I can continue my political evangelism of peace, love, unity and growth.

“I write to inform you that I have withdrawn my membership of APC, and I humbly request that you delist my name from the party’s register before transmitting the same to INEC.”
