The defendants: Taiwo Hassan, 42; Taye Aduloju, 24; Jabiru Idris, 35 and Sanni Adamu, 25, are facing a three-count charge of stealing and receiving stolen goods, to which they, however, pleaded not guilty.
The Prosecutor, Inspector Ayodele Adeosun, told the court that the defendant committed the offences on September 3 at 4.00 p.m. at Check Point Bus Stop, on Badagry expressway, Lagos.
Mr Adeosun said that Hassan and Aduloju stole the aluminium roofing sheets belonging to the complainant, Okanlawon Bolaji.

Mr Adekomaiya said that one of the sureties must be a grade level 12 civil servant in Lagos.
He, thereafter, adjourned the case till October 29 for mention.
