FRSC promotes 31 officers in Zamfara

The Zamfara State command of the Federal Road Safety Corps has decorated 31 personnel with various ranks.
The promoted personnel comprised seven officers and 24 marshals, who were successful in the 2025 promotion exam.
Speaking during the event on Thursday in Gasau, the Sector Commander, Aliyu Ma’aji, charged the personnel to redouble their efforts towards sensitising motorists on the importance of traffic guidelines to ensure safety on the roads.
Mr Ma’aji said. “To whom much is given, much is expected. Remember, out of the 34 personnel listed for promotion, 31 were successful. Therefore, we must reciprocate the kind gesture of the corps marshal and the public by putting more commitment while discharging our duties.”
The sector commander warned the personnel against any act of corruption and extortion of the public.
He said the core responsibility of the FRSC was to educate motorists, support accident victims, and arrest traffic offenders.
Mr Ma’aji advised the public to always adhere to traffic rules and regulations to curb frequent accidents on Nigerian roads.
