Ganduje recalls media aide who slammed Buhari over #EndSARS

Governor Umar Ganduje has reinstated his spokesman who was suspended on October 11 for criticising President Muhammadu Buhari’s handling of #EndSARS campaign.
Salihu Tanko-Yakasai was asked to proceed on suspension after slamming the president as insensitive towards the worldwide campaign to rid the Nigerian police of brutality, People Gazette reported.
Mr. Tanko-Yakasai had tweeted that Mr. Buhari failed to speak to Nigerians on matters of national urgency, seeing his leadership as a favour to citizens.
The reinstated media aide, who has served in the capacity since 2015, announced his recall to Gov. Ganduje’s cabinet in a tweet Thursday.
