Al Sadd disclosed that Ayew will sign a contact with the club on Thursday in a statement shared on Twitter.

“Al Sadd have reached an agreement to sign Ghanaian star Andre Ayew,” the statement reads in part.

“The player will arrive in Doha in the morning to complete the routine procedures, followed by the signing of the contract and the official announcement.”

Reports have it that Ayew could earn about $200,000 per week with the Qatari side.

The Ghanaian star made 46 appearances for Swansea last season, made 4 assist and netted 17 goals.
