Gombe: Inuwa confirms Aminu Yuguda as substantive accountant-general
Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya has approved the confirmation of the appointment of Aminu Umar Yuguda PhD as substantive Accountant- General of Gombe State with effect from 21st March 2021.
The State Head of Service, Alhaji Bappayo Yahaya, who conveyed the Governor’s approval, said the decision, is in line with the powers conferred on the His Excellency by Section 208 (2) of the 1999 constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria ( as amended).
He said, during his six-month service in an acting capacity, Aminu Yuguda had performed credibility well and discharged his duties professionally.
It will be recalled that Mr Yuguda, was appointed Acting Accountant-General on 22nd September 2021, following the retirement of the erstwhile AG, Umar Babagoro, Bello from the service.
Born on November 21, 1974, Aminu Yuguda obtained Bachelor of Science (BSc) and Masters ( MSc) degrees in Accounting from the University of Maiduguri as well as PhD from the University of Jos.
He is also an associate chartered accountant, ACA, and fellow chattered national accountant, FCNA, among others.
