Niger State Governor, Umaru Bago, has distributed over 100 vehicles to government officials, including members of boards, commissions, and the judiciary.

The vehicle presentation took place at the Government House in Minna, according to a statement on Wednesday by the governor’s spokesman, Ibrahim Bologi.

“Farmer Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago distributed over 100 vehicles to judges, board, and commission members. The farmer governor made the symbolic presentation of the vehicles at the Govt House Minna,” Mr Bologi said.

He said the distribution of vehicles became necessary to ease the transportation difficulties of the officials.

“The farmer governor enjoined them to judiciously use the vehicles for effective service delivery,” he said.

Some of the agencies that benefited from the distribution included the Niger State Secondary Education Board, Civil Service Commission, Local Government Service Commission, House of Assembly Service Commission, Law Reform Commission, Fiscal Responsibility Commission, Niger State Universal Basic Education Board and the Judicial Service Commission.
