Gov. Ododo appoints Falilat Musa as Kogi head of service

Until her appointment, Mrs Musa served as the solicitor-general and permanent secretary in the ministry of justice.

Governor Ahmed Ododo of Kogi has approved the appointment of Falilat Musa, as the new Head of Service (HOS) in the state.

This is contained in a statement signed by Folashade Ayoade, the Secretary to the State Government on Monday in Lokoja.

Ms Ayoade said that Musa takes over from Mr Elijah Evineni, who has been appointed as Special Adviser to the governor on Budget and Economic Planning II.

According to Ms Ayoade, until her appointment, Mrs Musa served as the solicitor-general and permanent secretary in the ministry of justice.

She said that the new HOS also served as president of the Federation of International Female Lawyers (FIDA) in the state.

The governor congratulated the new appointees and wished them success in their new assignments.

Mr Ododo also thanked them for their contributions to the growth and development of their former offices.

The governor said that the appointments and redeployments take immediate effect.
