Gov Okpebholo felicitates Muslims on Eid-el-Fitr, urges unity, peace

Governor Monday Okpebholo has extended warm felicitations to Muslim faithful in the state and across Nigeria on the occasion of the Eid-el-Fitr.
The governor said this in a statement on Friday.
Mr Okpbeholo commended the Muslim community for their devotion and spiritual commitment during Ramadan, highlighting the values of sacrifice, compassion, and selflessness as essential for a peaceful and united society.
The Edo governor urged Muslims to sustain these virtues and promote harmony among citizens, regardless of differences.
Mr Okpbeholo reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to inclusive governance, economic development, and the welfare of all Edo residents. He restated that unity remained key to achieving sustainable growth and progress.
The governor called on Edo people to pray for peace, stability, and development of the state and the nation at large during the festive period.
“Eid-el-Fitr is a time of joy, reflection, and gratitude. Let us celebrate in peace, extend love to one another,”he said.
He wished all Muslim faithful a peaceful and joyous Eid celebration.
