Gov Sule reappoints Ayuba Wandai as NASIEC chairman

Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has nominated Ayuba Wandai for reappointment as chairman of the State’s Independent Electoral Commission (NASIEC).
Danladi Jatau, speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, announced Mr Wandai’s nomination in a letter from the governor during plenary on Monday in Lafia.
According to the letter read by the speaker, the reappointment of Mr Wandai as NASIEC chairman is in line with the powers conferred on Mr Sule by the Nigerian constitution.
The speaker directed the clerk of the House to communicate to the nominee to submit 30 copies of his curriculum vitae (CV) and appear before the assembly on Tuesday for screening and possible confirmation.
