Gov Yusuf swears in two commissioners, solicitor-general

Gov. Abba Yusuf of Kano State has sworn in two commissioners and a solicitor-general as members of the state executive council.
This is contained in a statement issued by his spokesperson, Sunusi Dawakin-Tofa, in Kano on Friday.
The newly sworn-in commissioners are Abdulkarim Maude (SAN), as commissioner for justice and attorney general, and Aliyu Isah, as commissioner for livestock development.
Similarly, Salisu Tahir was also sworn in as solicitor-general and permanent secretary of the ministry of justice.
The swearing-in ceremony took place at the commencement of the 32nd Kano State executive council meeting held at the Governor’s Lodge in Kwankwasiyya City.
Mr Yusuf charged the new appointees to serve with dedication, integrity, and humility, stressing the importance of teamwork and synergy in achieving the government’s vision.
The governor reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to prioritising infrastructure development, education, healthcare, security, empowerment, and employment, pledging to work tirelessly towards improving the lives of the citizens.
