Governor Dikko Radda sacks Katsina United management

The Katsina government has dissolved the management of the Katsina United FC with immediate effect.
This is contained in a statement by sports commissioner Yusuf Rabiu-Jirdede on Wednesday.
The statement stated that the dissolution was part of Governor Dikko Radda’s administration’s efforts to reinvigorate the club for better performance in the league.
The commissioner said the Katsina government had approved an interim management committee to oversee the club’s affairs pending the management team’s reconstitution.
“Those appointed to head the affairs of the club as members of the interim management committee are as follows: Alhaji Kabir Danlami-Rimi, Gaddafi Muhammad-Rudwan, Aminu Abdullahi-Leno and Abubakar Sani. The outgoing management is to hand over the affairs of the club, including all assets, to the interim management committee with immediate effect,” said the statement.
It added, “The state government appreciates the effort of the outgoing management’s profound contribution and wishes them all the best in their future endeavours.”
