Governor Lawal’s stakeholders’ engagements demonstrate PDP’s strength in Zamfara: Aide

Nuhu Anka, spokesman for the Zamfara Government House, says the recent comprehensive statewide engagements with key stakeholders of the Peoples Democratic Party by Governor Dauda Lawal are an indication of the party’s strength in the state.
Mr Anka, in a statement on Wednesday, described the stakeholders’ engagement as a move that clearly reinforced the party’s unity, strength, and dominance across Zamfara.
The engagements began on Tuesday at the Gusau Government House, with about 40 PDP members from Gummi LGA in attendance.
According to him, the engagements were aimed at ensuring broad-based representation and inclusiveness across the state.
“The meetings are also part of a continuous and strategic consultation process, which will underscore Governor Lawal’s firm commitment to the PDP and his determination to further strengthen the party at all levels.
“The engagements serve as a vital platform for in-depth discussions on political developments affecting both the party and Zamfara while also allowing for collective planning ahead of future political activities,” Mr Anka said.
He further explained that the ongoing consultations clearly demonstrated that the PDP remained a strong, united, and influential political force across Zamfara, adding that the move had further consolidated and strengthened the party’s structures.
Mr Anka said, “In the coming weeks, the Governor will continue to host PDP stakeholders from all local government areas, listening attentively to their concerns, advice, and assessments of political and developmental issues in their respective communities.
“This level of engagement will not only strengthen party cohesion but also send a clear message that Lawal remains fully committed to the PDP and will not leave the party under any circumstances.”
He added that the meetings reaffirmed that the PDP in Zamfara was vibrant, stable, and well-positioned to continue providing purposeful leadership under Lawal.”
