Governor Makinde sacks SSG, appoints Musibau Babatunde as replacement

Governor Seyi Makinde has sacked the secretary to the state government, Olanike Adeyemo.

The termination of her appointment was with immediate effect.

This was announced in a statement on Monday by the special adviser on media to the governor, Sulaimon Olanrewaju.

Musibau Adetunji Babatunde has now been appointed as the new SSG.

The statement further disclosed that Seun Ashamu has been moved from the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources to the Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning.

“Also, the governor announced his senior special assistant on public works, Ademola Aderinto, as a commissioner-designate. He will consequently be presented to the Oyo State House of Assembly for screening,” said the statement.

The statement also announced the appointment of Abiodun Adedoja as special adviser on energy security and Kolawole Akanmu as senior special assistant on budget and economic planning.
