Gunmen kill Benue university student

The student was killed at her residence at Gadyo Villa in Makurdi on Monday night.

The Benue Police Command has confirmed the killing of Benue State University student, Jessica Agee, by gunmen.

A spokesperson for the police in the state, Catherine Anene, said the student was killed at her residence at Gadyo Villa in Makurdi on Monday night.

According to her, the remains of the student have been deposited at a mortuary.

She said that an investigation into the killing was ongoing.

“The incident is confirmed, the corpse has been deposited at a morgue while an investigation is in progress,’’ the police spokesperson said.
