Hajj: Ogun to begin screening of intending pilgrims Feb. 25

The Ogun Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board (OGMPWB) has fixed Feb. 25 to Feb. 28 to hold medical screening for intending pilgrims to the 2025 hajj.

The board disclosed this in a statement by the executive secretary,  Ajibola Taiwo, made available to journalists on Thursday  in Abeokuta.

Mr Taiwo stated that the medical exercise would take place at the board’s office in Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta.

According to him, the medical screening is mandatory for all intending pilgrims to ascertain their health status before embarking on the pilgrimage to Mecca and Medina.

The secretary also urged all intending pilgrims to come along with evidence of their payments to the board’s office.
