Handball Premier League: Edo Dynamos whip Kada Queens 31-16

Edo Dynamos female handball club of Benin on Monday defeated Kada Queens of Kaduna 31-16 on Match Day 5 of the ongoing 2021 Prudent Energy Handball Premier League in Abuja.
The win was their fourth in the 10-team female category of the league holding at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium.
The Benin-based team won their first match 27-19 against Confluence Queens, defeated Imo Grasshoppers 23-18 in their second match and the Seasiders Babes 22-19 in their third match.
They led the Kada Queens 13-8 after the game’s first half, but after their opponents rallied to equalise, they bounced back to eventually take the game at 31-16.
For the Kada Queens the defeat marked their fourth loss in the league.
They had lost their opening match 17-24 against Safety Babes, their second match 19-20 against Seasiders Babes and the third match 23-30 against Defenders Babes.
The coach of Kada Queens, Habib Ahmed, said they were playing under stress as they were still expecting their allowances to “kick start” their performance.
