I was poisoned at Adeleke University; no proper DNA test conducted with Davido: Ayo Labinjoh

“If anything happens to me or my daughter or mom, hold Sikiru Adeleke and Dr Deji Adeleke responsible,” said Ms Labinjoh.

Self-proclaimed Davido’s babymama, Ayo Labinjoh, has accused the artiste’s father, Deji Adeleke, of intimidation and interference in the paternity scandal involving the former.

Responding to Mr Adeleke’s recent comments on the dispute, Ms Labinjoh, on Wednesday, posted a statement on Instagram saying, “You cannot intimidate us, sir.”

“Sir, as the patriarch of the family, you should not be talking on David’s behalf,” she added. “I’m not Sophia negotiating child support, etc. Let David address me.”

Ms Labinjoh said her daughter lived with her grandmother, Ropo Labinjoh, while she worked as a trader travelling across Nigeria’s borders for business.

Ms Labinjoh said she was shocked to discover that her sister, Titilayo Labinjoh, had been communicating with Mr Adeleke since 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, without her knowledge.

“To my shock, my own sister Titilayo Labinjoh reportedly has been talking to Dr Deji Adeleke since the pandemic,” she wrote. “What about Anu, who has to endure everything?”

According to her, her sister allegedly approached the Adeleke family to seek financial support and educational opportunities.

She further alleged that funds meant for her daughter’s upkeep were partially diverted.

“I received N100,000 monthly from my sister, who Sikiru sent the alerts,” she claimed. “She pocketed half. Now that I’m aware, it was around N250,000.”

Ms Labinjoh alleged that Sikiru Adeleke, identified as Mr Adeleke’s younger brother, had been calling her for a meeting and seeking refund of money spent on her education at Adeleke University.

“Sikiru Adeleke, please stop stalking me,” she wrote in a separate post, claiming he called her nearly 10 times in one day. “I don’t have any money to refund them.”

She also denied claims that multiple DNA tests had been conducted with Davido and his cousin Adebayo Adeleke, popularly known as B-Red.

“Anu and I never met with you in 2020 for four additional DNA tests,” she stated. “I have not seen B-Red since February 2013. Anu has never met B-Red. Post the tests, sir.”

Ms Labinjoh further alleged that she was lured with promises of education and financial support without ever being granted direct access to Mr Adeleke or Davido.

“They blinded me with a promise of an education and money for Anu,” she explained. “I never saw Mr Adeleke or Davido one time when I was there.”

She also alleged being poisoned while studying at Adeleke University, claiming she fell ill after eating at the school cafeteria and was hospitalised.

“One day I went to eat my meal at the school and started vomiting blood,” she wrote. “I was poisoned. The hospital confirmed the poison, and I left hurriedly and dropped out.”

Ms Labinjoh reiterated that her sister appointed herself as a spokesperson and accused her of collecting funds on her behalf without full disclosure.

“I was vulnerable, poor, and worked hard, then took their university offer under poor advice from my sister,” she wrote. “Davido still had not accepted my daughter with proper DNA. If anything happens to me or my daughter or mom, hold Sikiru Adeleke and Dr Deji Adeleke responsible.”
