Inauguration: NSCDC deploys 2500 personnel in Kaduna

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence (NSCDC) has deployed 2,500 personnel in Kaduna State to ensure a hitch-free inauguration of the state governor-elect of Kaduna State, Uba Sani.
The state NSCDC commandant, Idris Adah, said this in a statement issued by the command spokesperson, DSC Habeeb Badamsi, on Sunday in Kaduna.
Mr Adah, who ordered the beef up of security across the state, advised miscreants and criminals to turn a new leaf and become good citizens adhering to rules and regulations.
He also ordered the re-enforcement of a 24-hour patrol across the 23 local government areas of the state, just as he ordered personnel to beam their searchlights on criminals hideout in the state.
Mr Adah appealed to all state residents to move about freely as security operatives were at their doorsteps to arrest those intending to disturb the peaceful coexistence in the state.
He also called on the residents to provide useful information about criminal hideouts for quick arrest and prosecution.
“It’s vital to provide us with useful information so that we can arrest these criminals before they lay their mayhem on the residents,” Mr Adah said.
