Interior minister inaugurates campaign group in Ondo, urges support for Tinubu’s re-election

The Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, has urged Nigerians to continue supporting President Bola Tinubu beyond 2027 to ensure policy continuity and sustained development.
He made the call during the inauguration of Bunmi Tunji-Ojo (BTO) Campaign Group for Tinubu’s re-election in Akungba, Ondo State.
Mr Tunji-Ojo said President Tinubu had recorded measurable progress across critical sectors, including the economy, education, and infrastructure, under the Renewed Hope Agenda.
The minister was represented at the event by the group’s chairman in the Akoko South West/East Federal Constituency, Abiodun Ogunbi.
Mr Tunji-Ojo said the president had taken bold decisions to stabilise the economy and that his re-election in 2027 would consolidate the gains.
“You should take the campaign to the grassroots to ensure 95 per cent of votes for the President. You are to engage with people at the unit, ward, and local government levels on the achievements of the President,” he said.
He urged members of the group to work assiduously at the grassroots to secure a landslide victory for the president.
The minister also urged the group to identify party members who might be aggrieved after the APC congress in the state and reconcile them with the party.
In his remarks, Mr Ogunbi commended the minister for his support for the president and urged members of the group to mobilise massive grassroots backing for Tinubu’s re-election in 2027.
Party leaders from across the state attended the event.
