The Inter-Party Advisory Council said it plans to produce a grand documentary movie to highlight and project Nigeria’s governance achievements from 1999 till date.

IPAC National Chairman, Yusuf Dantalle, spoke at the auditioning of the movie titled, “Unbroken two and half decades,” on Friday in Abuja.

Mr Dantalle stated that the planned documentary movie would commemorate the 25 years of uninterrupted democracy in Nigeria.

He said that the uninterrupted 25 years was not without challenges, but through collective patriotic commitments, resilience and hope for the best.

Mr Dantalle said that though Nigeria’s democracy was not where it should be, it was certainly not where it used to be.

He described the movie as a strategic communication tool for building generational democratic bridges, patriotic consciousness and international acceptability of the Nigerian brand.

“This is the story of Nigeria’s democracy from 1999 to date told by IPAC to commemorate the silver jubilee of uninterrupted civil rule and the gains thereof,” he said.

He added that the movie would not only reflect local content but would promote its brand image and products for local and international consumption.

“Unbroken two and half decades,’’ is 100 per cent pro-Nigeria and has been endorsed and approved by key stakeholders as a national mirror to reflect her positive narratives.

He said, “This is unprecedented being the first of its kind in the history of Nigerian movies and therefore, considered an outright sell-out upon release into the global market. We are strategically promoting innovative conversations around our democratic journey in the last 25 years using outstanding brands as symbolic images of public relations for national reorientation and rebranding.’’

Mr Dantalle said that the about 120- minute thought provoking movie would enjoy massive online, outdoor and conventional media publicity before, during and after the shooting and debut on national and international distribution platforms.

“The behind the scenes would be reviewed by CNN, NETFLIX, AMAZON and national media networks, etc. It is expected to smash all-time records at the box office and as well trend massively online through notable entertainment super influencers.

“By the auditioning, which kick-starts today, IPAC has opened a vista of opportunities for creative Nigerians to showcase their talents while promoting the nation through this historic documentary,” he said.

Mr Dantalle urged the media, organised private sector, all tiers of government, corporate bodies, brand promoters and Nigerians to support the great national project by IPAC.
