Israeli’s fighter jets hit Hamas leader responsible for October 7 terror: Official

The Israeli military on Tuesday said its fighter jets struck a senior Hamas commander who was responsible for the October 7 terrorist attacks on two communities.
Nasim Abu Ajina directed the massacre on October 7 in the Kibbutz Erez and Moshav Netiv HaAsara, the Israel Defence Forces (IDF).
The Israeli Security Agency (ISA) said in a joint statement posted on Telegram.
“In the past, Abu Ajina commanded Hamas’ Aerial Array and took part in the development of the UAVs and paragliders of the terrorist organisation,’’ the statement continued.
It added, “His elimination significantly harms the efforts of the Hamas terrorist organisation to disrupt the IDF’s ground activities.’’
The Israeli military on Tuesday morning also said it had attacked some 300 targets in the Gaza Strip in the previous 24 hours.
This included anti-tank missile and rocket launch posts below shafts, as well as military compounds inside underground tunnels belonging to the Hamas terrorist organisation.
Several Hamas members were killed, the Israeli military said, during its forces’ ground operations.
