Ex-Oyo Governor Alao-Akala is dead
Christopher Alao Akala, a former governor of Oyo State in southwest Nigeria, has died, family and friends told Peoples Gazette on Wednesday morning.
Mr Alao-Akala, from Ogbomoso, died at 71. Circumstances preceding his death were not immediately clear.
