Unknown gunmen suspected to be bandits have reportedly killed an official of a traditional ruler alongside his wife and daughter-in-law in Kaduna community.

The deadly attack was carried out on Saturday night in Jema’a Local Government Area (LGA) of the state.

The assailants stormed the home of Christopher Madaki, a scribe to a Ward Head at Golkofa community and killed him alongside his wife and son’s wife.

Samuel Aruwan, Commissioner, Ministry of Internal Security and Home Affairs, made the disclosure Sunday in a statement.

However, the two other victims were identified as Mary Christopher Madaki, and Alice Musa.

Mr Aruwan disclosed that, son of the deceased, Clement Musa Madaki, survived the attack with severe injuries.

The statement further noted that the state governor, Nasir El-Rufai, condemned the recent killing at Golkofa village and described it as completely “inhuman and ungodly.”

Bandits have continued to carry out deadly attacks across the southern parts of Kaduna State, leaving many deaths of many residents in their trail.
