Bandits in Kaduna have killed four persons.

The Kaduna government announced this on Tuesday, saying the bandits struck in Jema’a local government area. One person was injured apart from those killed.

The Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, disclosed this in a statement.

Mr Aruwan added that security agencies reported the attack on the Goska community in the local government.

He explained that the bandits invaded the community and killed four residents.

“Two of the victims were attacked and killed on their farms by the assailants; one woman sustained gunshot injuries and was rushed to hospital,” he said.

The commissioner also stated that Governor Nasir El-Rufai expressed sadness at the reports and prayed for the repose of the residents’ souls killed by the bandits.

The governor sent his condolences to their families and wished the injured a quick recovery.

Mr Aruwan said security patrols were ongoing in the general area, alongside investigations into the attack.
