Kano equips schools with modern furniture

The governor said that the initiative aimed to enhance the learning environment and support academic excellence.

Kano State Governor Abba Yusuf has delivered new sets of furniture to public schools across the state to boost his administration’s commitment to quality education.

This is contained in a statement by his spokesman, Bature Tofa, in Kano on Friday.

The statement quoted Mr Yusuf as disclosing this during a visit to Government College, Kano, where he inspected newly delivered furniture and instructional materials provided by the Ministry of Education.

Mr Yusuf said that the provision of modern learning materials would provide a platform for educational development.

He said, “This initiative aims to enhance the learning environment and support academic excellence.’’

Mr Yusuf said his efforts demonstrated dedication to revitalising the state’s education sector and empowering future generations.
