Katsina APC support groups reject planned nationwide youth protests

Katsina State Amalgamated All Progressives Congress support groups have rejected the planned protests across the country by some youths.
The groups made their position known during an emergency meeting led by their Chairman, Dr Bashir Dahiru, in Katsina on Wednesday.
Mr Dahiru, who spoke on the negative aspect of the planned protest, said, “It is always a setback to the socio-economic wellbeing of every society.”
Also, the state Coordinator, Concilliated APC Grassroots Movement, Isma’il Dahiru, urged members of the groups to continue to enlighten the youth on the implications of the protest.
He called on the youth in the state to keep praying for the progress and development of the state and the country in general.
According to him, instead of the protests, youths should be talking about various achievements of Governor Dikko Radda and President Bola Tinubu’s administrations.
Mr Dahiru commended Mr Radda for appointing a capable youth, Aminu Ubale-Funtua, as his Special Assistant on APC Support Groups and NGOs in the state.
He recalled that, “When the office of the Special Assistant organised a tour to the 34 Local Government Areas, the support groups used the opportunity to monitor various developmental projects executed by the governor.”
The coordinator further assured of their continued support to the administrations of both Messrs Radda and Tinubu.
