Katsina NYSC wins 2021 entrepreneurship development competition

The Katsina office of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has become the best in exhibition and competition in the Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development (SAED) programme in the country.
This is disclosed in a statement issued on Sunday in Katsina by the NYSC spokesperson, Alex Ogbemeata.
The Katsina office of the NYSC had now won the competition for the fourth time, said the statement.
“The scheduled officer SAED in Katsina state, Alhaji Ahmed Yaradua, has consistently been proclaimed the best officer in SAED for the fourth time, the last one being in 2017,” explained the statement. “This year’s competition took place in Abuja on December 15 to 16, 2021, and the award was held on Friday, December 17 at the Nigerian Air Force Conference Centre, Abuja.”
It added that the state office became “one of the best five states in the country.”
The statement further noted that the NYSC coordinator in Katsina, Ahidjo Yahaya, expressed his gratitude to the participants for the doggedness and seriousness exhibited towards the SAED activities by making the state proud.
The statement also mentioned that Mr Yahaya commended the SAED scheduled officer for the award and called on corps members in the state to take the programme very seriously.
