Kebbi CP retires, tasks security agencies on improving synergy

Samuel Titus-Musa, the retiring Commissioner of Police in Kebbi, has tasked security agencies on improving synergy to overcome security challenges in the state.
Mr Titus-Musa gave the charge during a reception to mark his retirement in Birnin Kebbi on Sunday.
He said, “There has been an improvement in security in the state since the assumption of power by incumbent Governor Nasir Idris, who has attached importance to security matters.
“I thank the commanders of other security agencies for working together with the state police command in securing the state.”
Mr Titus-Musa urged the leadership of security agencies in the state to always carry officers and men along as a prerequisite for success.
He thanked the personnel of the command for giving him the necessary support and cooperation to bring about an improvement in security matters in the state.
“I am going out of the police service gracefully after spending 33 years and six months in service from 1990 to September 5, 2023,” he stated.
Mr Titus-Musa thanked all officers, the state government, and other stakeholders for supporting him in executing his mandate.
Some stakeholders that attended the reception poured encomiums on Mr Titus-Musa, highlighting his cordial relationship with people, his good character, and his achievements.
Among the speakers are the state director of the State Security Service (SSS), Aliyu Shua’bu; comptroller of Nigeria Customs Service, Ben Oramalugo; comptroller of Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Rabi Bashir-Nuhu; and representatives of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) and Nigeria Correctional Service (NCS), among others.
