Kebbi: PDP stands by expulsion of 15 party members
The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has affirmed the expulsion of 15 members in Kebbi by the state chapter.
The party disclosed this in a statement by its spokesman Kola Ologbondiyan on Monday.
The expelled members, according to the party, include Garba Besse, Ibrahim Manzo, Muhd Ruwa, Musa Manzo, Umar Kamba, Abdulmalik Milton, Haruna Shayau, Isiyaku Daudu, Saleh Gambo, Bello Gulmare, Junaidu Wasagu, Muhd Afan, Abubakar Kurunkudu, Hajiya Yalli and Haruna Isa.
The party explained that the expulsion was sequel to the decision of the state chapter and ratification by the NWC in line with the provision of the PDP Constitution (2017 as amended).
It urged all PDP members in Kebbi to remain calm, united and focused, and not allow any agents of destabilisation to derail the party in the collective quest to rescue the state and the nation.
