Actor Kunle Remi gets married 

Nollywood Actor Oyekunle Opeyemi Oluwaremi, popularly known as Kunle Remi, tied the knot with his partner, Boluwatiwi, during the weekend.

Remi, who announced their engagement on Instagram on January 1, had their traditional wedding on Friday and white on Saturday.

Billionaire businessman and the wife’s uncle Femi Oted was present to celebrate the couple. Actors like Bimbo Ademoye, Mawuli Gavor, Deyemi Okanlawon, Akah Nnani. Influencers like Mr Macaroni, Layi Wasabi and Broda Shaggi also graced the colourful event. 

Remi had shared a picture of him kneeling to his wife while carrying a goat. He captioned the photo, “Tiwi, I come to you humbly as a G.O.A.T with a goat… are you ready to dance Ayamii?”

Various videos and pictures of the wedding ceremony have been flooding social media. 

Gospel singer Moses Bliss announces proposal to girlfriend 

Moses Bliss revealed on Friday that he is now engaged to his Ghanaian lover, Marie Wiseborn. 

The ‘Too Faithful’ crooner posted pictures announcing the proposal on his Instagram page.

He captioned a picture of the engagement ring: “The Lord makes all things beautiful in his time. She said YES @mariewiseborn.”

The singer revealed that he met his fiancée on Instagram after he tagged her on a dance video she made to his song ‘Miracle no dey tire Jesus.’

Bliss stated that when he saw the video, he was shocked and said, “I like the way she praises God; wow, she dances like David.”

“I miraculously saw it, and after a while, we became friends for so many months, and here we are today truly: MIRACLE NO DEY TIRE JESUS,” Bliss stated.

Prime Video cuts funding Africa

Amazon Prime Video is redirecting its financial focus to prioritising original content from Europe, restructuring its European team into “EU Established” and “EU Emerging” segments. 

This shift involves slashing content and staff in Africa and the Middle East, with a halt on approving new local original content in Sub-Saharan Africa, the Middle East, and North Africa. Despite confirmed productions in these regions, staff reductions are anticipated.

Vice President Barry Furlong explained the adjustments aim to align resources with customer priorities, enhance operational efficiency, and foster agility. A new role, Director of EU Content and Programming Strategy, will collaborate internationally on Amazon MGM Studios pipeline initiatives.
