Lagos: Diesel tanker goes up in flames in Ojota

A truck filled with diesel has gone up in flames in the Ojota area of Lagos.

A truck filled with diesel has gone up in flames in the Ojota area of Lagos.

The incident occurred on Monday.

However, the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service confirmed the incident on its X, saying its officers had put out the tanker’s fire.

According to a video shared on their X handle, two men of the LSFRS could be seen putting out the fire with their equipment.

“Situation in Ojota is under control as the peddler truck conveying Diesel inward Ketu that went on flame has been extinguished,” the emergency agency said.
