The registration portal for entrance tests into Lagos State’s 16 model colleges and upgraded junior secondary schools for the 2024/2025 academic session will close on Friday, May 17.

Adebayo Orunsolu, director and registrar of the Lagos State Examinations Board, made this known in a statement on Tuesday in Lagos.

He advised parents interested but had yet to register their children for the examination to do so without delay.

The board conducts annual tests into the model colleges and upgraded junior secondary schools.

Mr Orunsolu said the test for admission to the 16 model colleges and upgraded junior secondary schools for the 2024/2025 academic session would be held from May 28 to 31.

He said the test would take place in five designated computer-based centres across the state’s six education districts.

“All duly registered applicants are required to revisit the board’s portal: https://examsboard.lagosstate.gov.ng using their usernames and passwords to print out clear copies of their sitting arrangements for the examination.

“This should be done on Saturday, May 18. The printout is to confirm their sitting arrangements for the examination and certify the candidates.

“It is also expected that applicants should come to the venue with their examination slips,” he added.

The director warned that electronic gadgets such as phones, iPads, and watches would not be allowed into the examination hall.

He solicited the cooperation of parents, guardians, and other stakeholders to conduct the examination successfully.
