Lagos police nab two men with toy gun hidden under motorcycle seat

Operatives of the Lagos state police command have arrested two men in possession of a toy pistol hidden under the seat of their motorcycle.
The state’s police public relations officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, disclosed this on Saturday on his official X handle.
He also attached a picture of the pair with their toy gun to the post.
According to him, the suspects were arrested by policemen conducting a stop-and-search operation by Agege Railway Police Station.
He wrote, “Kyari Idris, aged 20 and Abubakar Salisu, aged 18, were found with a toy pistol under the seat of their motorcycle by police officers on stop-and-search duty by Agege Railway Police Station.
Mr Hundeyin said the two suspects resisted arrest, prompting the officers to call for backup to further facilitate their arrest.
He added that investigation is ongoing into the matter.
