Lightning kills one child in Afghanistan
A child lost his life as lightning struck a house in eastern Afghanistan’s Wardak province on Thursday night, the local media reported on Friday.
The mishap occurred late Thursday night in Narkh district, leaving an eight-year-old boy dead on the spot, the report said.
Over the past few days, parts of Afghanistan, including Wardak, Khost and Ghazni provinces, have experienced snowfall, heavy rains, thunder and lightning.
