A man identified as Ajibola Abidemi Arije was declared missing after leaving for work in Ibadan on Friday.

In a public message on Saturday, Mr Arije’s wife, Olajumoke, said he left for work and did not return home.

She added that he was last seen around 7:27 a.m. on Friday.

“He left for work yesterday but he never got to work nor return, his both phones are switched off,” Ms Arije stated.

According to her, Mr Arije was not someone who would go anywhere without informing her or anyone.

She added, “He drove a gold Nissan primers from Dikat/Ajeigbe Ibadan where he was last seen.”

Noting that all efforts to locate the victim was to no avail, she appealed to the public to help with any useful information about him.

“Please if you have any information about him kindly help. I have been to police station all effort hasn’t yielded any positive result.

“His colleague also confirmed that he said he would be at the office in 30minutes time but it’s been 24hrs he is yet to get to the office,” she added.

When contacted for comment, Oyo police spokesperson, Ayanlade Olayinka, promised to get back with details.
