Ministers, South-East governors to attend 35th Enugu International Trade Fair

The Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Doris Uzoka-Anite, and her Innovation, Science and Technology counterpart, Uche Nnaji, are some of the high-profile dignitaries who will attend the 35th Enugu International Trade Fair opening in Enugu on Friday.
Governor Peter Mbah, the chief host, and the other four governors will attend the fair to welcome shoppers, exhibitors, and dignitaries.
Odeiga Jideonwo, president of the Enugu Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mining and Agriculture (ECCIMA), disclosed this in Enugu on Thursday.
The fair will be held from April 5 to 15.
Mr Jideonwo said that apart from the special guests, many captains of commerce and industries would also be on the ground.
The chamber boss noted that the 35th fair would be a beautiful experience for all attendees as the chamber ”is throwing its gates open for the first time.”
“This is something we have not done in the past 34 years of organizing the yearly fair. So, it will be free of charge. We are also providing free shuttle buses from the metropolis centre—Shoprite axis—for all attending the fair.
“These and other conveniences we are providing will translate to more traffic at the fairground, more money in the pockets of shoppers, as well as subsequent turnover for exhibitors,” he added.
