My music not for TikTok generation: Adele
Award winning British artist Adele has declared that she is only interested in making music for her generation and not the present TikTok generation.
In an interview with Zane Lowe on Apple Music, Adele explained her stand as regards her unique style of music and how unrelatable it is for the current “Tik Tok” generation.
The artist asked “If everyone is making music for Tik Tok, who is making music for my generation, who is making music for my pairs?”
“ I will do that job gladly,” she strongly acknowledged.
The 33-year-old artist said her recently released album 30, is “too deep” for young folks to relate to, as she would rather make music for folks in her age bracket.
“I would rather cater to the people that are on my level in terms of the amount of time we have been on earth and things we have been through, I don’t want twelve years older listening to this record, it is too deep,” Adele said.
The singer who is known for her emotional songs, released her new album “30” on November 19, after years of working on it.
