The Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA) has reaffirmed its commitment to strengthen collaboration with government at all levels and other stakeholders to achieve a sustainable economy.

Jani Ibrahim, the national president of NACIMA, said this on Wednesday in Abuja in his message on the occasion of Nigeria’s 65th independence and 65th founding anniversary of NACIMA.

Mr Ibrahim said since the establishment of NACIMA in 1960, it had been a key prosperity-driving partner of the Nigerian economy through every stage of its sovereign journey.

He said that NACIMA had been serving as the authentic voice of the Nigerian business as the trusted partner in helping to advance policies for inclusive growth, industrialisation, trade facilitation, and sustainable development.

“As we celebrate this dual milestone, we reaffirm our commitment to continue to promote an enabling business environment.

“We are ready to deepen regional and global trade integration and harness the transformative potential of innovation, entrepreneurship, and investment to unlock Nigeria’s full economic potential.

“We are also committed to partnering with the federal government under the leadership of President Bola Tinubu to achieve the national objective of a $1 trillion gross domestic product (GDP) by 2030,” he said.

Mr Ibrahim said that NACIMA recognised the critical role of public-private partnerships in driving national development.

According to him, at 65, NACCIMA remains steadfast in its mission to strengthen collaboration with government at all levels, working with development and multilateral partners and the broader business community.

“The association is committed to ensuring that Nigeria achieves sustainable economic diversification, job creation, and prosperity for all citizens.

“The association proudly joins the president and all our Nigerian compatriots in commemorating the 65th independence anniversary of our beloved nation,” he added.

The national president said that with more than a hundred chambers of commerce within the fold, the shared history reflects the resilience, creativity, and unwavering spirit of Nigerians in achieving prosperity.

“On this historic occasion, we salute the founding visionaries of NACCIMA, past leaders and the tireless members of our chamber movement whose sacrifices and contributions continue to shape our journey.

“We also celebrate every Nigerian at home and in the diaspora, whose resilience and enterprise embody the true spirit of independence through enterprise.

“Together, let us renew our faith in Nigeria, strengthen our institutions, and harness the boundless potential of our people and resources to build the prosperous future we all envision.

“Happy 65th Independence Anniversary, Nigeria! Happy 65th Anniversary, NACCIMA! God bless NACCIMA, God bless NIGERIA, and may God continue to bless our troops,” he said.
