Naira Marley, MohBad’s father should have been arrested, ID Cabasa says

The police should have arrested Naira Marley (Azeez Fashola) and MohBad’s father for questioning in connection with the Afrobeats artiste’s death, says rapper and producer ID Cabasa (Olumide Ogunade).
“Somebody called me and said the man (MohBad’s father) is grieving. How will you say the man is grieving, and he is saying all those things as if he has been bribed?” stated ID Cabasa on Instagram Live on Monday.
An audio recording leaked and circulated online showed MohBad’s father fervently defending Naira Marley amidst allegations linking him to his son’s tragic death.
“Naira only showed his seniority. His ears were blocked, and (he) didn’t listen. Naira gave me his number about a year ago, but I have not been able to reach him. Naira is not a bad person or the type that would kill him. He only showed him who’s the boss,” the father allegedly said in the audio recording.
ID Cabasa also expressed concerns about the hurried burial of MohBad, pointing out that the artiste was a Christian, and the burial seemed to follow Muslim customs, which did not align with the deceased’s religious beliefs.
“This man (MohBad’s father) is going to bury loads of evidence which elsewhere he should have been arrested and probably put behind bars,” ID Cabasa stated.
“Yes,” ID Cabasa answered when a fan asked if the police should have brought in Naira Marley for questioning. “He should have been invited. He happened to be the boss. We are seeing all of those videos.”
MohBad’s father was present as police commissioner Idowu Owohunwa, who inaugurated a special team to investigate the death of the Afrobeats artiste.
