The All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholders in Akwanga North Constituency, Nasarawa State, have passed a vote of confidence in Governor Abdullahi Sule on his concern for the wellbeing of the people in the state.

They also passed a vote of confidence in Nehemiah Dandaura, the deputy speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, on his leadership style.

The stakeholders made the endorsement during a meeting in Akwanga on Monday.

Nathaniel Isah, an APC chieftain and former councillor representing the Nunku ward of Akwanga Local Government Area, was seconded by Sunday Hassan, the speaker of Akwanga Local Government Legislative Council.

The stakeholders emphasised that they decided to endorse Mr Sule and the deputy speaker due to their developmental strides in the constituency.

The stakeholders said the governor and the deputy speaker were their sole candidates in the 2023 general elections.

They promised their readiness to work tirelessly for the victory of the governor and deputy speaker beyond 2023.

Speaking, the deputy speaker promised his determination to provide quality representation at the state legislature and consolidate his achievements if given another mandate.
