Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Danladi Jatau, has called for intense prayers for leaders at all levels to succeed.

The speaker made the call when he visited the chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Karu Local Government Area, Bulus Joshua, in Karu on Tuesday.

The chairman of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly Committee on Information, Jonah Ali-Dizaho, led the speaker alongside Solomon Akwashiki, a member representing Lafia Central Constituency.

The speaker emphasised the need for religious leaders to support and always pray for leaders at all levels to succeed.

“I am here on a familiarisation visit, and I urge you and other religious leaders to continue to support and pray for us, the politicians and other leaders, for God’s guidance to enable us to succeed,” he said.

He urged the people of the state and Nigerians to live in peace and imbibe the spirit of tolerance, irrespective of their affiliations.

Responding, Mr Bulus appreciated the speaker’s visit and urged him not to betray people’s trust in him and to operate with the fear of God.

He expressed absolute confidence in the ability and capacity of the speaker to deliver.
