Nasarawa commissioner urges youths to embrace peace

Nasarawa State Commissioner for Water Resources and Rural Development
Mohammed Muluku has urged youths and other Nigerians to continue embracing peace.
Mr Muluku made the call on Monday at the inauguration of new officials of the Ezhiba Youth Association (EYA) and the fundraising appeal for the construction of three blocks of classrooms at LGEA Primary School, Ezhiba.
The commissioner, represented by Awayi Kuje, called for unity and peaceful coexistence among citizens.
Mr Muluku urged the people of the Ezhiba community and other citizens of the state to continue to support Governor Abdullahi Sule’s administration.
“His Excellency, Governor Sule, has done a lot; he has done well, as his projects are everywhere in the state, including the Ezhiba community.
“I want to call on the people to continue to support Sule for your community to continue to enjoy more dividends of democracy.
“He has performed well and is still doing well in the areas of education, health, water, rural development, agriculture, and infrastructure, among others,” he said.
On his part, Garba Adigizi, the administrator of the Akun Area Administrative Council, urged the people of the Ezhiba community and others to support the governor and Mr Muluku.
The administrator assured the youths of his support and urged them to live in peace.
Responding, Danlami Umbugadu, the Aren Ezhiba, appreciated the governor and Mr Muluku for the ongoing construction of two classrooms and an office at LGEA Primary School, Ezhiba.
The outgoing EYA chairman, Paul Audu, and the new chairman, Mathew Douglas-Akpazi, commended them for the gesture.
They appealed to the state government for the construction of Ezhiba Road, among other infrastructure.
The officials are Sunday Akawu, vice chairman; Affiku Charles, secretary; Yakubu Joseph, assistant secretary; and Moses Danlami, financial secretary.
Others are Moses James Akpazi, PRO 1; Godwin Ovey Kuje, PRO 2; Ali Monday, Auditor 1; Abimiku John, Auditor 2; Bitrus Yakubu, Social Director 1; and Peter Luka, Social Director 2.
Tsaku Sabo, sports director; Angbre Paul, provost marshal; Joy Ezekiel, welfare director 1; Blessing Usman, welfare director 2; and Andrew Yakubu, treasurer.
