New FRSC sector commander assumes duty in Akwa Ibom

Lasisi Ogundele has assumed duty as the new sector commander, Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), RS6.3 Sector Command, Akwa Ibom.
Maul James, the public enlightenment/public relations officer, disclosed this in a statement in Uyo on Wednesday.
Mr James said that Mr Ogundele took over from Mathew Olonisaye, who had been redeployed to the corps national headquarters, Abuja, to serve in another capacity.
He stated that until his latest posting, Mr Ogundele was the head of operations, FRSC zonal headquarters, Bauchi state.
According to him, the redeployment is a routine exercise aimed at strengthening the system for better service delivery.
”The postings are intended to enthrone enhanced performance and efficiency in road traffic management and safety administration in Nigeria,” he said.
The FRSC spokesman expressed gratitude to the outgoing sector commander for the cooperation he enjoyed from the state.
