Information minister Lai Mohammed has called for the sanction of CNN over the investigation on Lekki Massacre on October 20

The cable news giant published its report yesterday, forcing Mr. Mohammed to intensify his dangerous lies that there were no killings.

Dozens of unarmed #EndSARS protesters were killed by soldiers on October. Peoples Gazette reported how Nigerian Army attempted to hand over nine bodies to the police on the night of the massacre

Mr. Mohammed on Thursday insisted that the military only fired empty bullet on protesters at Lekki toll gate, adding that Dj Switch was only seeking attention to get asylum.

He dismissed CNN’s report as one-dimensional and lacking in balance.

He described CNN report one sided which lacks balance.

Mr. Mohammed also used BBC report to validate government position, claiming the report was based on fact.

BBC reported that as at the time the shooting started, the military was shooting in the air before the reporters left the scene.

The information minister accused CNN for not considering the properties destroyed.
