NNPP dissolves party executive committees in Kano

The National Working Committee of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) has dissolved the party’s executive committees at the state, local government, and ward levels in Kano State.
In a statement in Abuja on Friday, NNPP’s national publicity secretary, Ladipo Johnson, said that the dissolution was in accordance with the constitution of the party, after an emergency meeting.
He added that in line with the provisions of the party’s constitution, the National Working Committee (NWC) resolved to appoint caretaker committees to act in the interim.
Mr Johnson said that further instructions would be announced in due course.
He thanked all those who held positions at the state, local government, and ward structures of the party in Kano State.
Mr Johnson assured them of the party’s appreciation for their invaluable contributions.
